Experience the world of wool up close and discover on a guided tour how high-quality loden fabrics are made from natural raw materials. Get to know the entire production process and immerse yourself in the history and craftsmanship of Steiner1888.
You will find the “Wollwelt” directly at our loden factory in Mandling, Austria. Afterwards, our store with fashion, home accessories and upholstery fabrics invites you to browse. Visit us and experience tradition and innovation in a special way!

Prices and duration
Adults: 10,- EUR
Children: 5,- EUR
The entrance fee is refunded for purchases of 100,- EUR or more.
The duration of the tour is between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on the size of the group.
A look behind the scenes
A look behind the scenes is worthwhile, because on a guided tour through the old walls of the manufactory you will "feel" the positive properties of wool, which are not only in Steiner1888's own interior and fashion collections, but also in many famous fashion brands of the world: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander or even Yves St. Laurent trust in the fabrics of the local loden factory.
EXPERIENCE
You will be guided through the manufactory using multimedia: 3D cinema, touch stations, information monitors & an expert guide. an expert guide make the tour an exciting experience.

Incorporated into the shop: our Steiner1888 Café. You can relax with fresh cake and coffee. For the thirsty, there is of course also a selection of cold drinks.
