Online shopping at Steiner1888

Shipping will be handled by the parcel service selected by Steiner1888 (DPD). Delivery dates are always non-binding, unless they have been confirmed as binding by Steiner1888 in writing. Compensation for damages in case of delayed delivery is excluded in any case, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Steiner1888. The delivery address requested by the customer may differ from the invoice address (taxes according to the country of delivery).

What delivery periods can I expect?

Delivery times within Austria and to Germany 1-4 working days. Within the EU, the delivery time can be between 3 and 8 working days. Rest of the world: up to 3 weeks delivery time The production and delivery time of custom-made items can take up to 3 weeks (delivery within Austria and to Germany). We will inform you as soon as possible if ordered items are not in stock and give you an approximate delivery time. For prepayment orders, you are welcome to send a screenshot of the bank transfer confirmation to webshop@steiner1888.com so that we do not have to wait for the total amount to be received and can prepare the goods for dispatch immediately. The tracking link will follow from DPD to your specified email address. Attention, this often ends up in the spam/junk folder. Which shipping costs apply for my order?

Free delivery from an order value of 150,- EUR within Austria or to Germany.

How are customs duties handled outside the EU?

For Switzerland we take over all customs duties and import taxes. The customer only pays the shipping costs of € 18.95. In the case of a return shipment, customers must bear the costs themselves. For deliveries to other countries outside the EU, the customs costs can be requested from the responsible customs office.

What payment methods are available and how do they differ?

The following payment options are available in our online shop: Prepayment, credit or debit card, PayPal and Klarna (instant bank transfer).

The transactions for credit or debit card and Klarna are carried out via our payment provider Stripe. If none of the payment methods appeals to you, you are welcome to contact us by email or phone (office@steiner1888.com, +43 6454 7203).

What is important to know about the delivery?

Goods that are marked as available in the online shop will be delivered immediately after receiving the order, generally within a maximum of 7 working days. Delivery periods and delivery dates are in general non-binding, but we make every effort to deliver as quickly as possible, by parcel service. It should be taken into account that our products are not mass-produced items and delivery times cannot always be avoided. In such cases, we may execute the order in partial deliveries. If larger quantities are purchased, delivery times shall be expressly agreed separately in writing. The delivery date shall be postponed in cases of force majeure or unforeseen events beyond our control. The delivery date shall also be postponed if the customer is in default with the obligations incumbent upon him, such as the handing over of documents or other types of cooperation.
